It happens—sometimes the vibe isn’t quite right, or the fit doesn't align. At UMA SUTRA, we want your experience to be as seamless as the threads we weave. If you aren’t 100% happy with your purchase, let’s get it sorted.


The Golden Rule of Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached.

  • The Window: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.

  • Proof of Purchase: Please hang onto your digital receipt or order confirmation email.

How to Initiate a Return

We’ve kept the process straightforward so you can get back to your flow:

  1. Request: Email us at support@umasutra.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Review: Our team will review your request within 24–48 hours and send over a Return Authorization (RA).

  3. Ship: Package your item securely. Unless the return is due to a defect on our end, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Non-Returnable Items

To maintain hygiene and fairness, certain items cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as Final Sale.

  • Intimates or jewelry (for health and safety reasons).

  • Gift cards.

  • Items returned after the 14-day window.


Refunds: The Full Circle

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send you an email notification. If approved:

  • Method: Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method.

  • Timeline: Most banks take 5–10 business days to reflect the credit on your statement.

Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrived damaged or we sent you the wrong "Sutra," please contact us immediately. We’ll prioritize a replacement or a full refund (shipping included) to make it right.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
